It is a proven fact that vegetarians live a lot longer. It is said that vegetarians live 7 years longer and vegans live 15 years longer than the meat eaters. A vegetarian is also less likely to gain weight than a non-vegetarian. This is because a vegetarian diet is low in fat and high in fibre. It is also said that vegetarians are less prone to heart diseases, cancer,blood pressure, diabetes. Sometimes a vegetarian diet can also help cure these diseases.

There are a lot of benefits of being a vegetarian. It lessens the risk of any lung or heart diseases. It enhances easy digestion. Increased energy is gained from a small amount of food. One can enjoy a cholesterol free life. It can help fight impotence. It can boost your immune system. It provides a healthy skin. It increases your life span.
